Patch Poll: Share Your Memories of the Skokie Theater

The downtown entertainment would've celebrated its 100th year anniversary in 2012.

Skokie's downtown theater will close its doors at the end of the year, The Skokie Review reports.

The closure is effective until further notice. The venue, which opened its doors in 1912, "has not announced it will close in 2012, but artists scheduled to perform there after Dec. 31 have been notified," according to The Skokie Review.
