Readers' Choice: And the Best Bar Food Award in Skokie Goes to ....

Wow. That is all we can say. This was by far our closest Readers' Choice yet.

In the end, we have to tip our hats to Village Inn. Located at 8050 Lincoln Ave., Village Inn has been serving the community for 22 years, according to co-owner Randy Miles. Some of their dishes include signature thin crust pizza and prime rib. "I'm very happy to be recognized and there's no better recognition than your own customers," Miles told Patch, "People come in for our pizza and it's taken some of my customers 10 to 15 to 20 years to try something other than the pizza—then when they do they get mad at me that I haven't turned them on to something else."
