Skokieans Make Jewish '36 Under 36' List

The web magazine named top young leaders in the Jewish community.

Tziporah Gelman of Skokie has been named to OyChicago.com's '36 Under 36' list of Jewish movers and shakers who are making their mark on the Chicago area.

Gelman has become a leader and coach in encouraging fitness in the Jewish community, according to OyChicago.com.

Another of the '36 Under 36' was Anton German, who immigrated from Russia and grew up in Skokie, according to OyChicago.com. German founded ecommerce startup BayRu LLC, which facilitates e-commerce between Eastern European consumers and American sites such as Amazon.com.
