Skokie's Peapod Expands; Will Deliver Groceries To Offices, Pick-Up Locations

Peapod is trying to stay ahead of competition in the grocery-delivery business, Crain's Chicago Business and the Skokie Review report.

You're busy. You'd like to have someone drop off your groceries at your home, but you're not home.

Peapod LLC, the Skokie-based grocery delivery service, is augmenting its list of services, according to Crain's Chicago Business and the Skokie Review, so that customers can have food delivered to their offices, or even drive to a pick-up location and get groceries loaded into their car without ever having to get out of the car.

So far, that pickup service is available in Prospect Heights, Lincolnshire, Schaumburg, Palatine and Deerfield, according to Peapod.com.
