Who Deserves to be Skokie's 'Merchant of the Year?'

There are hidden gems and popular merchants in Skokie, but which merchant is the best?

The headline is pretty straightforward. Which Skokie business deserves to be 2013's Merchant of the Year?

Last year, the Consumers Affairs Commission received 457 ballots nominating 42 different Skokie businesses. The winner? Golan's Moving and Storage, 3600 Jarvis Ave.

Upon winning the award, Golan's received a certificate plaque and a perpetual Merchant of the Year trophy that has their business name engraved.  The trophy will be on display at Golan’s Moving and Storage for one year, unless they repeat again in 2013
