TRAINING FOR ILLINOIS CONCEALED CARRY LICENSE NOW AVAILABLE BY CERTIFIED CHICAGO POLICE INSTRUCTORS

As of January 5 2014, Illinois residents will be entitled to apply for a Concealed Carry License, allowing them to legally carry a concealed firearm in Illinois.

The requirement to obtain an Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL) starts with a 16 hour session that must be delivered by Illinois State Police certified instructors.

Chicago’s Finest Tactics and CCL opened its doors in December 2013 with six state certified trainers, all current Chicago Police Department firearms instructors. This training provides the first step for participants to obtain the state mandated course certificate which allows the participant to take the next steps in the CCL application process.
