HESTER DECORATING & BEATTY DECORATING COMPANY JOIN FORCES

North Shore-based Hester acquires Beatty assets and staff

 LAKE BLUFF, Ill. (Jan. 23, 2014) – Two established North Shore painting companies are teaming up; Beatty Decorating Company joined Hester Painting & Decorating on Jan. 20, 2014.

            Beatty president, Miles W. Beatty III, and his brother James Beatty, vice president, joined the Hester team and continue to serve Beatty clients, as have the team of Beatty painters.  They will operate for Beatty customers as Hester Beatty Decorating for a period of time, to ensure former Beatty customers recognize that the Beatty personnel, quality and service continue on as part of the Hester organization.  Miles and Jim Beatty remain deeply involved in the  client relationships and project management, and customers can continue to request their favorite painters.

            Miles “Bud” Beatty incorporated his firm in Lake Bluff in 1966.  Both sons, Miles and Jim, joined the company in the 1970s serving as apprentices and becoming journeyman painters.  Over the decades, Beatty Decorating Company has built a reputation for excellence in painting and restoring homes, churches, theaters, banks and historic structures, primarily in Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and the surrounding area.
