RAISA KHRAKOVSKAYA TO RETIRE FROM INT

Skokie, IL, April 7, 2014 - After 19 years working devotedly as a Database Administrator for INT, Raisa Khrakovskaya a long time resident of Skokie is set to retire next month.

Raisa, age 66, joined INT in 1995 after emigrating from her native Kiev, Russia She has a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics & Automation and has completed two Masters Level courses at the Institute for Professional Development at DePaul University since moving to Chicago. 

Known for her immensely empathetic soul, staff enjoy Raisa’s easy laugh and stories of a life lived to the fullest, navigating the differences in culture, customs and language between her old and new homes.  Before coming to the USA in 1994, Raisa worked as Lead Programmer for National Weather Services of Ukraine.  She is a member of CBS Working Group on Data Management of World Meteorological Organization (a UN Specialized Agency).
