Skokie's Lakhani Hospitality Names Karim Lakhani as Assistant Director of Operations

Skokie resident Karim Lakhani has been named Assistant Director of Operations for Lakhani Hospitality, which owns 4 hotels including The Holiday Inn Chicago North Shore in Skokie. Lakhani, who grew up in Skokie and attended Niles West High School, is a 2014 gradate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree with the highest possible distinction – Summa Cum Laude and graduated #1 in his class. He also received the designation of First Degree Marshall, a prestigious honor that allowed him to join the college dean and lead the procession of students during the 146th Cornell University Commencement Ceremony.  He has returned home to continue building the business that his father started 10 years ago, when Karim was only 13 years old.

In addition to four hotels, Lakhani Hospitality also owns 5 gasoline refueling stations and 3 full-service Bar Louie restaurants. They have over 520 employees, with annual sales exceeding $48 million.
