Donate Food to Pay Off Fines at Skokie Public Library

Patrons with overdue fines can donate food or personal care items and have fines reduced.

Skokie Public Library is celebrating National Library Week with Food for Fines where patrons can be forgiven up to $10 in overdue fines if they bring in up to ten food or personal care items, according to the library’s website.

Don’t have fines? The library will still accept food items, including food for pets. The donated items will help restock Skokie’s food pantry.
