Gasoline Prices Drop in Skokie

Moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the dip in prices, the Chicago Tribune reports.

 

Gas prices are finally going down for Skokie drivers.

The average price of gasoline in the Chicago suburbs has dropped by 9 cents in the past week to $3.91 per gallon, the Chicago Tribune reports. The newspaper says moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the drop in price.

As of Monday afternoon, the following three gas stations have the lowest prices in Skokie, according to GasBuddy.com: 

  • $3.95, Shell, 9600 Crawford Ave.
  • $3.96, Shell, 5138 Dempster St.
  • $3.96, Mobil, 8401 Skokie Blvd.
