Illinois Holocaust Museum Honors Three Humanitarians

The Skokie museum honored J.B. Pritzker, Bill Brodsky and Linda Johnson Rice during its annual fundraising dinner.

 

Illinois Holocaust Museum honored three humanitarians during its annual fundraising dinner, which raised $2.6 million toward advancing the museum’s mission of honoring the memories of those lost in the Holocaust and teaching lessons that combat hatred, prejudice and indifference, Skokie Review reported.

The annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner held on March 6 recognized J.B. Pritzker, managing partner of The Pritzker Group, William Brodsky, chairman and CEO of Chicago Board Options Exchange and Linda Johnson Rice, chairman of Johnson Publishing Company, . 

Pritzker played an important role in raising funds to make the Holocaust Museum a reality and Brodsky was one of the original donors to the museum and supported it from the start, while Johnson received the award for fighting against racism and gender inequality her whole life, Skokie Review reported.
