A Comcast representative said the Midwest is experiencing an outage. And don't bother calling. Apparently, no matter how hard you try, you're call will be dropped. That's if you're calling 1800-Comcast.
Skokie Patch was able to get through via online chat. The best thing to do now is wait it out. The representative did note that technicians are out trying to remedy the problem, but no time table was given.
