Skokie Library's Summer Reading Program Offers Adventure, Prizes

Are your kids ready for a journey this summer? Kids from birth through 8th grade can sign up for the Skokie Library's Summer Reading Program, which has a travel theme this year.

Reading books and doing certain other activities enable kids to color in a state on the map (see photo).

Once kids color in the states and check in four times at the library before July 31, they're eligible for some cool prizes, including gift baskets and, for Skokie residents, a t-shirt.

Stop at the children's department of the library, 5215 Oakton Street, Skokie,or visit skokie library.info.
