Winning ‘Don’t Smoke, Don’t Start’ Posters On Display

The posters created for Skokie's campaign to warn youth against tobacco use are on display at Skokie Public Library and Village Hall.

 

More than 120 posters were entered into Skokie’s first “Don’t Smoke, Don’t Start” poster contest aimed at warning youngsters against tobacco use; entries came from schools including Besse Rhodes Magnet School, Old Orchard Junior High and McCracken Middle School, Skokie Review reported. 

McCraken Middle School student Angela Martin’s poster won first place; Old Orchard Junior High School student Joey Manata took second and McCracken Middle School student Annabelle Jiang placed third; the posters are currently on display at Skokie Public Library and Village Hall, Skokie Review reported.
