Julie Strauss, Ph.D., Political Scientist

 

The United States plays a unique role in the world. This
class will explore how that role has changed under President Obama's tenure.
Dr. Strauss will discuss the confirmation of a new Secretary of State, and
his/her agenda for a second presidential term; examine the regions that are
receiving the most attention from the US; and ask how the US will project its
influence in the next several years through military might or diplomacy.
