Patti Vasquez and Nick Digilio for Autism Speaks

The fourth installment of Gale Street Inn's Bar Talk will feature Patti Vasquez and Nick Digilio and will raise money for Autism Speaks. Bar Talk is evening of dinner, drinks, and a conversation between two of Chicago’s notables to help raise friends, funds and awareness for Chicago’s non-profit causes. Patti Vasquez hosts a WGN radio program and is a popular headliner at comedy clubs around the country, and Nick Digilio hosts his own programs on WGN radio on Friday and Saturday nights where he talks about movies, food and pop culture. Autism Speaks is the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization. It is dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention and treatments, and a cure for autism, as well as increasing awareness of autism and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Reserve your spot at www.events.autismspeaks.org/bartalkiv.

Your entire $50 per person donation goes to Autism Speaks, and you also get a buffet dinner of grilled salmon, jambalaya, Gale Street Inn's popular ribs, some clever sides, wine and beer, and dessert. This event is part of the 50th anniversary pay-it-forward events that Gale Street Inn is hosting in 2013 and is a celebration of the cause, the customers, and the neighborhood. Gale Street Inn is located at 4914 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago. It is normally closed on Tuesdays so the doors will open at 6:00 for the event only. We have use of the large parking lot next to the restaurant (TCF Bank) so parking is easy. The buffet will be open for one hour at 6:30 and refreshed a couple times so there is no need to rush in. We will move from the dining room into the bar at approximately 7:30 to for the entertainment.
