Canoeing The Skokie Lagoons

Explore the Skokie Lagoons on a canoe!  Professional canoe guides from Chicago River
Canoe take you on a canoeing adventure along the lagoons and through the forest
setting where herons hunt in the shallows and turtles bask on fallen
trees.  You will navigate around islands
to find some hidden spots. The Lagoons are a placid body of water, so it's a
good trip for beginners, as well as more experienced canoe-ers. Instruction
will be provided.  Meet at the Chicago
River Canoe launch on Tower Road just west of Forest Way Drive.
