in time for Halloween! The most popular Broadway show of the new century plays
off the most popular Hollywood movie of the last century. The Wizard of Oz
inspired Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel, which imagined the life of the Wicked
Witch of the West before Dorothy. And that inspired Stephen Schwartz to write
the score for his first successful musical in almost 30 years!
