Begin the college Journey at Sophomore College Night at Niles West on Jan. 23

The college search and application process can be very confusing. District 219 sophomores and their parents are invited to start the journey at Sophomore College Night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23 in the Auditorium at Niles West High School, 5701 Oakton, Skokie. This free informational session will cover the following topics: college selection process, high school course requirements for college, and admissions criteria. The speaker is Nate Bargar, Admissions Representative from Illinois State University. Also present to answer questions will be College and Career Counselors Dan Gin (Niles West), Allegra Giulietti-Schmitt (Niles North) and National College Adviser Jerry Pope.  For more information, please contact Dan Gin at (847) 626-2682.
