Family Fitness Night

The Niles North Physical Welfare Department, along with the American Heart Association and POLAR heart monitors, invite Niles North students and their families to attend Family Fitness Night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 29 in the Cardio Lab Room (1950) at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler, Skokie.  Families will be able to experience POLAR heart rate monitors and hear presentations from the American Heart Association on healthy living, as well as a cooking demonstration.

This is a free event for the entire family. Tour the fitness facilities available to Niles North students, and learn about the POLAR Gx system that P.E. teachers and students use to monitor target heart rates. Participants should wear workout clothes and be ready to move. The American Heart Association will conduct free heart screenings, and families can try out the equipment in the cardio lab.

For more information, please contact Niles North Director of Physical Welfare Paul Swanson at (847) 626-2288. This event is presented by the powerful partnership of Niles Township High School District 219, the American Heart Association and POLAR.
