The Skokie Chamber of Commerce, a very established and active North Shore community, introduces a networking group for business professionals under 40; Infuse Skokie.
Skokie continues to grow as a fresh, fun and inviting community. While reaching out to new families, college graduates, and savvy consumers, it’s also taking steps to welcome progressive business professionals. The vitality of local business depends on continual growth and development. The tech-confident and innovative 20/30-something generation is just what the North Shore needs to keep the market on its toes and thrive while focusing on the long-term economic and societal goals.
The Skokie Chamber introduces the newest addition to its established community of networking groups; Infuse Skokie. The group focuses on bringing the young business generation together to socialize, connect, and create long and lasting relationships. The group produces a fresh environment that many locals are looking for. They can meet, greet, learn and grow together with a more exciting experience than a typical networking event.
Infuse Skokie wants to invite those who are looking for more than just the usual ‘hello, how are you? I work at….” introductory. This networking group wants to bring together young professionals looking for real, engaging and educational interactions. The typical networking event will consist of group interaction, problem solving, family gatherings, involved lectures, and the occasional fundraising social event. The group is more than a place to search for the right person who will jump-start their sales. This is about connecting and educating one other while having fun.
The networking group’s first event is October 18th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Skokie’s local Curragh. Curragh is an Irish pub that specializes in a ‘craic’ experience meaning fun, entertainment, and enjoyable company. The group welcomes anyone interested to stop by and see what the buzz is about.
The young generation brings a modern approach to business development, ultimately creating growth for the future economy. Networking no longer has to be uninviting and overwhelming. Infuse Skokie wants their members to have fun while making new connections.
