Join us for a report on the state of North Shore Senior Center, election of new board members, and recognition of retiring board members.
Following the business meeting will be the keynote presentation by Vinayak P Dravid, Professor of Materials Science & Engineering, and founding Director of Northwestern University's NUANCE Center. Dr. Dravid's presentation, entitled "Emerging Nanotechnology for Biomedicine and Quality of Life: Will 75 become the new 35!", provides an introduction to nanotechnology and how this new science might treat diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's and create devices for improving quality of life.
