FINAL JCC PresenTense Chicago "Shark Tank" Event - May 20th!

Watch great ideas ignite as JCC PresenTense Chicago entrepreneurs pitch their concepts for social change at our second and final Shark Tank Event for 2014. Based off the popular TV series, the entrepreneurship competition will be held May 20th, 6-9:00 pm at John Barleycorn River North, 149 W. Kinzie. Networking starts at 6;00 pm, with the event at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $10/advance, and $15/door.  Kosher appetizers and a drink ticket are included.

Contestants will compete for one of three $2500 micro-grants.  They will have 3 minutes to pitch their ventures, followed by Q&A from the judges and audience.  Experts from various fields serve as judges, and will rank the fellows by their presentation and answers.

The judges are Adam Fridman, Founder, MeetAdvisors & Mabbly; Shalom Klein, Founder, jewish B2B Networking; pat McCarthy, Inventor, Liquid Money, Shark tank contestant; Jeff Aeder, owner, Milts Barbeque for the Perplexed; Jaqueline von Edelberg, Youtopia Founder; Rich Levy, Founder/CEO; Haute Sausage & Beamboard; and Caryn Bark, Comedienne and Emcee.  Winners will be announced at the end of the night.  The six month fellowship concludes with an exciting Launch Night on June 12, 2014.
