Katie Merrell continues our member-led summer programs on July 13th at 10:30 a.m. at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 North Lincoln Avenue in Skokie. Her topic? “Non-profit Boards of Trustees: Who? What? Why? How?” A member of two non-profit boards, Katie has become deeply interested in the governance of non-profit organizations. She will discuss the characteristics of effective boards and how they contribute to their organization’s success.
