Search for the Unknown Titanic Child: Forensic Detectives

At NSSC, Northfield Location:

Hal Tinberg, Ph.D., Abbott Laboratories (ret.); Biology Instructor, CLC (ret.)

The most luxurious ocean liner of its day, the R.M.S. Titanic, sank with a large loss of life in the frigid North Atlantic waters on April 15, 1912. The body of a single child was recovered following the disaster. The identity of this child would remain a mystery for nearly a century, until state of the art DNA testing revealed the name of the child known as the 'Unknown Titanic Child.' This lecture describes the twists and turns involved in solving one of History's Great Mysteries.
