Serving People in Need: The Settlement House Movement

Sarah Frick, Vice President of External Affairs for Chicago Commons,
speaks February 2nd at 10:30 a.m. at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago,
7574 North Lincoln Avenue in Skokie. Her topic is, “Serving People in Need:
The Settlement House Movement
.” Frick will recount the long history of
Chicago Commons, which along with Hull House was an early pioneer in helping
Chicago’s poor and immigrant communities. She will discuss how their work goes
on.
