Testing the Heart of Your Garden

Good soil is at the heart of every great garden. Matt Ryan, Assistant Farm Manager at The Talking Farm, will present soil basics from macronutrients to pH to adding organic matter. Composting and other methods for amending your soil will also be covered. We will show you how to take a soil sample, and if you return your sample to Emily Oaks within one week of class, we'll send it for testing and the results will be mailed to your home.
