The Chicago ‘L’—Chicago's Biggest Mover & Shaker

Greg Borzo, award-winning journalist and author who
specializes on Chicago and its history, speaks November 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at
the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 North Lincoln Avenue in Skokie.
His topic is, “The Chicago ‘L’—Chicago's Biggest Mover & Shaker.” In a rich
illustrated presentation, Borzo will describe the growth of Chicago’s
world-famous elevated and subway rail system that has been running 24/7 for 121
years. He will discuss how it came to be and why it needs to be preserved. Mass
transit never looked so good!
