The Secular Movement—Moving Beyond the Base

Edwina Rogers, Executive Director of the Secular Coalition for America, speaks December 1st at 10:30 a.m. at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 North Lincoln Avenue in Skokie. Her topic is, “The Secular Movement—Moving Beyond the Base.”
Rogers will discuss the historic progress of non-theist organizations
and how the Secular Coalition of America has worked
to unify and facilitate its access to the nation’s decision makers. She
will describe the SCA’s 2014 initiative to attract women and minorities
to the secular movement.
