Rick Perlstein, historian and a writer for The Nation, New Republic, Mother Jones, and Rolling Stone, speaks September 15th at
10:30 a.m. at the Ethical
Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 N. Lincoln Avenue in Skokie. His topic is “The Tea Party—Lessons from History”. Author of a prize-winning book on presidential candidate Barry Goldwater, Perlstein will discuss how the tactics and actions of today’s Tea Party stretch back over sixty years.
