Twenty-first Star NSDAR Monthly Meeting

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet  on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the Park  Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to  follow.  Hostesses for the day are: Joyce Pence, Nancy Meyer, Linda  Andrews and Nancy Ruscitti, Chairman.

Chapter Regent Sheila Aszling is please to have Ann Durkin Keating speak about her book, "Rising up from Indian Country: The Battle of Fort Dearborn and the Birth of Chicago." Ann Durkin Keating holds the C. Frederick Toenniges Professorship at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. She is a history professor and chair of the History Department.

Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
