Wilmette Park District Summer Concert Series for June 15th: DANGEROUS FOLK

STARLIGHT THEATRE 2014 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

The Wilmette Park District's summer concert season is a line up of free concerts happening in the community for everyone to enjoy.  Sunday concerts take place in the late afternoon at the Centennial Gazebo in Mallinckrodt Park.

For Sunday, June 15th, the performance will be DANGEROUS FOLK, an acoustic music trio that captures the classic folk songs from the 1960s, such as Peter, Paul and Mary, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and many more. 

The Summer Concert Sunday series line-up is as follows:

6/15: Dangerous Folk*
6/29: La Travaillant* (Classic French Cajun music)
7/20: Rockin' Johnny Band* (Chicago Style Blues)
8/10: Jazz Lady Robin Watson* (Jazz, Big Band and Motown)

*In case of inclement weather, these performances will be held in the Theater of the Community Recreation Center, 3000 Glenview Rd, Wilmette, IL.

In case of questionable weather, call 847.920.7949 after 5pm on the day of the performance.
