Worm Composting for Families

Worms are nature’s recyclers, breaking down everything from grass clippings to banana peels. See for yourself how worm composting keeps food out of the landfill and results in a nutrient-rich, organic soil amendment. Meet the worms that live in the Nature Center’s worm bin, receive handout materials, and make your own worm bin to take home. Ages 6+.
