Local Animal Shelter Needs Help Rebuilding After Bus Crash

Others are raising money to cover medical bills and fund music education.

In October, a bus crashed into the Wright Way Animal Shelter in Niles. No people or pets were seriously injured, but the roof collapsed and the shelter now needs a new home.

Christopher Gordon took to the website GoFundMe to help raise money for Wright Way, writing, "I am looking to raise as much money as possible to help this organization to continue saving the lives on innocent animals."

GoFundMe allows people to raise money for causes of all shapes and sizes. There are people seeking help with medical bills after serious illnesses, those raising money to help with disaster relief across the globe and those with a more need, like a new car to get to work or part of their college tuition.
