GT Skokie September Auditions

GT Skokie is proud to announce two upcoming auditions taking place September - one for all ages (Twelfth Night of the Living Dead) and one for youth actors (You Don’t Know Jack: The Other Side of the Beanstalk). Interested actors should email the respective contact person for more information. 

AUDITION #1: Twelfth Night of the Living Dead
Gorilla Tango Skokie Theatre is seeking 8 Actors for Zombie Comedy!

A Chicago-premiere, this show mixes text from "Twelfth Night" as well as "Night of the Living Dead" in addition to original material by Bryan Renaud to present just what happens when a zombie apocalypse plagues a production of one of the bard's funniest comedies. Join the cast on stage and off as they attempt to survive - without letting the audience know what's happening! 

Audition Date: September 17th, 2013
Audition Time: 2-5pm.
Audition Location: 2nd Floor Gorilla Tango Skokie Theatre (7924 Lincoln Avenue, Skokie IL 60077)
Pay: $50 stipend

Type/Restrictions: Actors of all ages and types should apply.
Time Commitment: Rehearsals begin September 23rd. Tech week begins October 13th. Show runs October 18th-26th.

AUDITION #2: You Don’t Know Jack: The Other Side of the Beanstalk
GT Skokie Young Artists seeks youth performers ages 9-15.

You Don’t Know Jack is a new spin on the old tale of Jack and the Beanstalk created and performed by a youth ensemble.

Audition Date: Monday, September 23 (4-6pm) and Tuesday, September 24 (6-8pm)
Audition Time: 4-6pm on Monday, 6-8pm on Tuesday
Audition Location: Gorilla Tango's Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave, Skokie IL 60077

Type/Restrictions: Seeking an ensemble of youth performers, ages 9-15 or AssistantDirector/ Tech Crew of any age
Time Commitment: Rehearsals are on weekdays from 6-8pm beginning October 9th.Performances are Saturday and Sunday at 4pm November 16-24.
Material to Prepare: A monologue or funny story. Cold readings will be available foranyone without a prepared piece. If possible, please bring a headshot/ current pictureand a resume.
