GT Skokie Young Artists Announces Auditions for original piece, "Trusted Promises"

"Trusted Promises" is a story about discovering the honest truth about growing relationships (friendships, classmates, etc). Love comes from the heart while being a child at heart; you can be reminded to honor your promises.

Audition Date: Saturday, September 7 from 5-7pm, Sunday September 8 from 2-4pm
Audition Location: Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave, Skokie, IL 60077

Type/ Restrictions: Seeking an ensemble of creative, innovative youth performers including dancers (all styles), martial artists, gymnasts, etc. from ages 9-18. All are welcomed to audition. No experience required. Late teens have the opportunity to become technical operator and/or assistant director.

Time Commitment: Rehearsals begin September 19 on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5-8PM except Sunday, October 27, which is from 11AM-2PM. Shows are November 2, 3, 9, and 10 at 2PM.

Audition Materials: Please come prepared with a monologue- 30seconds to a minute. If you do not have a monologue, please tell a story or a joke. Please bring resume and headshot, if possible. All you need to do is remain calm, positive, and perform.
