Cellar Doors

Cellar Door, singular, is the most beautiful phrase in our vocabulary. Cellar Doors, plural, is an original play about four adolescents from two families and one very formative weekend. After learning that their mothers have left both families and come out as lesbians, the distanced childhood friends struggle with coming of age, sexuality, familial discord, and the exhausting search for something meaningful in the seemingly beautiful syntax of their lives. This premier production is written by Emily Prescott and directed by Jonathan Stoller-Schoff.
Friday, July 19 (7pm) and Saturday July 20 (2pm and 7pm). Tickets are $10.

Glengarry Glen Ross

Winner of the 1984 Pulitzer Prize, David Mamet's scalding comedy shows parts of two days in the lives of desperate Chicago real estate agents who are prepared to engage in any number of unethical, illegal acts—from lies and flattery to bribery, threats, intimidation and burglary—to sell undesirable real estate to unwitting prospective buyers. Produced by Ron Ben-Joseph.
Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, July 26-August 3, 2013. Tickets $25.

Fantastic Folktales

Join us for an afternoon of folktales from around the world! Folktales are the earliest story telling tradition, and have been a part of every culture. Five of the most popular folktales still being told today will come to life on stage in a real live dramatic presentation filled with laughter and life lessons.
