Meet Holly, A Hopeful, Happy Chihuahua

Holly, a gentle white chihuahua currently staying at C.A.R.E., would love to warm your heart and your lap. A reserved, gentle dog who rarely barks, Holly's goal in life is to find someone to care for and love her. She walks calmly on leash, but doesn't need long walks. Plus she's "paper trained," which will make winters a breeze. Holly says, "I'd much rather sit and relax while watching the world go by. Since I'm a little older, I can get startled easily, but nothing upsets me for long. If you're looking for a quiet, friendly, sweet companion, please come and meet me."

• Chihuahua Mix, 8 - 10 years old, Spayed female.
  
• ASPCA Canine-ality™ Assessment rating: Purple / Constant Companion
  
• Tiny size / weighs 7 lbs.
• Respectful children 10 and up.
• No cats, needs work with dogs her size.
• Needs housebreaking, will use pee pads.
• Holly is spayed, microchipped and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines.

Please come to C.A.R.E., 2310 Oakton St., Evanston, to meet Holly and speak to an adoption counselor. Adoption hours are Monday through Thursday, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, noon-3:30 p.m.
