Meet Lacey: A Loveable & Lucky Dog

C.A.R.E. dog Lacey aims for balance in all things--from playing to walking to sleeping--and of course, to coming to the shelter to meet her.

C.A.R.E. dog Lacey, a sturdy dark-brown terrier mix with a striking white stripe down her face and a white tuxedo front, feels that balance is the key to happiness. "I use that philosophy in all of life's endeavors," Lacey admits. "I play just hard enough, but without too much intensity. I meet people with a friendly and polite manner, adding a little gusto once I know who you are. I may cry a little when you first leave me alone, but then I'll settle to wait patiently for your return. I do guard my heart a little, but once you’ve earned it, it’ll be yours forever. My solid, balanced attitude offers a great foundation for continued learning and loving. If you’re seeking easy-going companion, please come to meet me."
