Meet Mr. Sandy: Suave, Sophisticated & Supremely Cool

Mr. Sandy, a sturdy orange tabby, arrived at CARE as a "stray," but he's such a friendly fellow that clearly he's used to being with people. Mr. Sandy has "a sweet meow and a sweet face to match," say CARE volunteers, all of whom are smitten by this cat.

Mr. Sandy adds, "I've been very well-behaved at the shelter and I'm quite mellow. I'd rather sit with you and get petted than play with toys. I'm a real people kitty! Will you be the lucky one who gets to spend your life with me? Come meet me at CARE!"

• Domestic Shorthair, 3 - 5 years old, Orange Tabby, Neutered male
• ASPCA Feline-ality™ Assessment rating:  Green / Leader of the Band
• We're not sure how Mr. Sandy feels about other cats or dogs.
• Mr. Sandy is microchipped, neutered, and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines.

Please come to C.A.R.E., 2310 Oakton St., Evanston, to meet Mr. Sandy and speak to an adoption counselor. Adoption hours are Monday through Thursday, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, noon-3:30 p.m.
