Skokie Patch Poll Creates Pit Bull Love
After running a poll asking if pit bulls should be banned, readers voiced their thoughts and even took action. See what one local group did.
A story that recently appeared on Skokie Patch asked if pit bulls should be banned in Illinois. The question Almost 100 people commented and about 700 shared the story on Facebook.
Overall, it seems the community feels that banning any breed isn't the solution to preventing dog attacks. Of 755 votes, only 56 felt the breed should be banned while another 698, or 92 percent, felt otherwise.
Now, a Skokie couple has created a Facebook page in response to the article titled, "Pit Bulls Are Great Dogs Skokie." Because the page just launched, they only have a few 'likes.'
