THOMAS C. DI CANIO, age 79, of Wilmette, died November 30, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. DiCanio was born April 19, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Thomas and Teresa Matteo DiCanio.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956.
He was a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign, IL. He is a retired publisher in the floral journal industry.

Beloved husband of Lila, nee Katz;
Loving father of Laura (Zach Williams) and Paula (Tom Hutchings) DiCanio;
Cherished grandfather of Hannah, Johnny, Annabella and Aaron;
Fond brother of the late Harold and Ruby LeGassique and Lillian DiCanio.

Services: Family and friends will meet for Funeral Mass, Saturday, December 7, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Tarcissus Catholic Church, 6020 W. Ardmore Ave., Chicago. Interment, All Saints Catholic Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines. No visitation.

RAYMOND ANTHONY “Big Ray” GROSS, age 86, of Chicago. Loving sweetheart and husband of the late June Rose Gross, with whom he is now reunited in paradise; dear father of Mary Katherine (Joseph) Cannello, Theresa (William) Diaz, Barbara (David) Baiocchi, and Jeffrey (Christine), Kenneth (SiSi), and John (Simona) Gross; cherished grandfather of Joy, Brian, Adam, Sarah, Michael, Rebecca and Sealia; cherished great-grandfather of Alexander, June, Penny, Daphne, and Sophie; fond brother of Dianne Hammett; like a father to Ann Michelle, Mary Lou, Melissa, Chrissy, and the late Michelle; preceded in death by his beloved second wife, Roxanne. Proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150; and, once upon a time, rodeo cowboy. He was a remarkable man and will be missed very much.
