Community Update

I am curious as to how many people got tickets on 01/02/14 for being parked on the wrong side of the road, for snow removal... and how many were made to pay the ticket and how many tickets were dismissed.  

My husband took teh day off work to contest the ticket and he had to pay the fine.  Our neighbor took the lazy route and contested by mail with the exact information we had, as I gave it to him!  AND his ticket was dismissed.  SAME ticket SAME date SAME time SAME street location!!  We lost6 out on a day of pay AND had to pay the fine.

This is completely unfair and the Village needs to step up and give everyone a refund, for those who were ticketsd in the 8500 N. block of Hamilton who got a ticket on 01/02/14 between 12:15ish and 12:45.  We were there for 30 minutes for our parking lot to be cleaned.  That was it!

Village of Skokie is unfair & INCONSISTENT!!  Step up to the plate and take responsibility to making some pay and not others for the same exact ticket!!
