Theft from Motor Vehicle

  • Theft from Motor Vehicle on the 6000 block of Oakton Street, between  December 31st at 4:00 p.m. and January 11th at 11:40 a.m.  Reported:  01/11/2014. An unknown person(s) stole the side fairings off a tractor.  The unknown person(s) then replaced the tractor with damaged fairings which matched the tractor.

Retail Theft

  • Retail Theft at 4831 Golf Road, Golf Galaxy, on January 11th at 1:40 p.m.  Reported:  01/11/2014. A Middle Eastern male and female entered the store and while the male distracted the employees the female took 18 boxes of Titleist golf balls valued at $863.82.

Theft

  • Theft at 9611 Skokie Boulevard, Panera Bread, on January 11th between 3:00 p.m. and 3:27 p.m.  Reported:  01/11/2014. An unknown person(s) removed the victim’s wallet from inside her purse while it was hanging on the chair.
  • Theft at 9600 Gross Point Road, Skokie Hospital, between January 10th at 5:30 p.m. and January 11th at 3:00 p.m.  Reported:  01/11/2014. An unknown person(s) stole the victim’s wallet from inside her purse.

Theft Pocket Picking

  • Theft Pocket Picking at 9449 Skokie Boulevard, Jewel/Osco, on January 12th between 2:28 p.m. and 2:35 p.m.  Reported:  01/12/2014. An unknown person(s) removed the victim’s wallet from inside her purse while it was hung across her body.

Identity Theft

  • Identity Theft on the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road, on December 21st between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.  Reported:  01/12/2014. An unknown person(s) used the victim’s Discover card account number making purchases at  eight different stores.

Burglary

  • Burglary on the 5000 block of Lee Street, on January 11th between 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.  Reported:  01/11/2014. An unknown person(s) by unknown means entered through the east side door of the residence.  Stolen was cash.

  • Sporea, Ferdinand R., 27, 1600 block of Oakton Street, Evanston, was arrested on charges of Driving with a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License on the 4000 block of Church Street, on 01/11/2014.
  • Terry, Maritza, 49, 4900 block of Hull Street, #1R, was arrested on charges of Driving with No Valid Driver’s License on the 8500 block of Skokie Boulevard, on 01/11/2014.
  • Dobobro, Victoria, 23, 2000 block of Greenview Road, Northbrook, was arrested on charges of Retail Theft on the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road, on 01/11/2014.
  • Qazi, Zaki A., 25, 9200 block of Keeler Avenue, was arrested on charges of Driving with a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License on the 9400 block of Skokie Boulevard, on 01/12/2014.
  • Juvenile, 17, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Retail Theft on the 9400 block of Skokie Boulevard, on 01/12/2014.
  • Juvenile, 16, Skokie, was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance on the 9100 block of Gross Point Road, on 01/05/2014.

people that use marijuana should be arrested. It shouldn't be ok for medicinal use or like in Colorado legal. It is a drug and it altered the mind and personality of the person. There is too much freedom in America!
