Apple MacBook, iPhone Stolen In Separate Incidents

Identity Theft

• Identity Theft on the 4500 block of Main Street, between August 25th and September 20th.  Reported:  09/202013. An unknown person(s) attempted to apply for credit using the victim’s name.

• Identity Theft on the 4800 block of Wright Terrace, between September 16th and September 20th.  Reported:  09/20/2013. An unknown person(s) attempted to use another’s identity.

Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts

• Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts on the 5000 block of Dobson Street, between September 15th at 5:00 p.m. and September 16th at 1:00 p.m.  Reported: 09/20/13. The unknown offender removed the catalytic converter from a tan, 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, while it was parked in front of the victim’s residence.

Theft of Lost Property

• Theft of Lost Property on the 5000 block of Oakton Street, on September 20th, between 5:00 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.  Reported: 09/20/13. The unknown offender removed the victim’s black Apple IPhone 4 from the Subway restaurant at 5041 Dempster Street.

Robbery

• Robbery on the 4900 block of Dempster Street, on September 20th, at 9:00 p.m.  Reported 09/20/13. The victim reported being attacked and beaten up by a group of unidentifiable offenders.  The offenders removed his Samsung Galaxy cell phone and wallet.  Due to the victim’s uncooperative nature, no further information was obtained.

Theft

• Theft at 5115 Church Street, House of Rental, on June 24th at 10:48 a.m.  Reported:  09/20/2013. Tools were rented and never returned.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 9500 block of Kildare Avenue, on September 20th between 12:40 p.m. and 1:10 p.m.  Reported:  09/20/2013.An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked Hyundai and stole a new Apple MacBook Pro.

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 5100 block of Farwell Avenue, between September 20th at 10:30 p.m. and September 21st at 7:30 a.m.  Reported: 09/21/13. The unknown offender entered the unlocked vehicle, which was parked in the driveway.  Nothing was reported missing.

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 3300 block of Greenleaf Street, between September 20th at 5:00 p.m. and September 21st at 4:00 p.m.  Reported: 09/21/13.The unknown offender attempted to pry open the trunk of a vehicle, which was parked in the driveway.

Criminal Damage to Property

• Criminal Damage to Property on the 7600 block of Crawford Avenue, between May 1st at 12:00 a.m. and September 21st at 1:30 p.m.  Reported: 09/21/13.The unknown offender damaged the victim’s bicycle, which was located in the common basement area.

• Fernandez, Martin M., 30, 2258 W. 18th Place, Chicago, was arrested for driving on a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s license on the 8800 block of Lockwood Avenue, on 09/20/2013.

• Reina Steve, 18, 9448 Kelvin, Schiller Park, was arrested for Retail Theft on the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road, on 09/20/2013.

• Oneal, Caitlin E., 24, 738 Shermer, Glenview, was arrested for Retail Theft, on the 4900 block of Old Orchard Rd., on 09/20/2013.

• Junco, Jose A., 28, 1534 N. Kolin 1st Floor, Chicago, was arrested for Driving with No Valid Driver’s License on the 3900 block of Howard Street, on 09/21/2013.

• Larson, Gordon C., 55, 7638 Keeler Avenue, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol on the 3800 block of Oakton Street, on 09/21/2013.

• Alanis, Adelfo, 42, 3646 N. Albany #2, Chicago, was arrested for Driving on a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License on the 4200 block of Keeler Avenue, on 09/21/2013.

• Juvenile, 16, Skokie, was arrested for Theft on the 8000 block of Keating Avenue, on 09/21/2013.

• Juvenile, 12, Skokie, was arrested for Retail Theft on the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road, on 09/21/2013.

• Lahens, Catherine, 36, 745 Brummel Street #1, Evanston, was arrested for Driving on a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License on the 3400 block of Oakton Street, on 09/21/2013.
