A bank in neighboring Morton Grove was robbed on Friday.
According to police, MB Financial Bank, 9147 Waukegan Road, was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money around 2:30 p.m.
A person entered the bank and demanded money, but did not display a weapon or indicate they had one, police said. No one was injured.
"It was a quick job, no gun was displayed and [the suspect] was in and out," said Morton Grove Cmdr. Paul Yaras. "We've already spoken to the FBI and they're taking the lead on this one."
