Police observed graffiti on a signed attached to a fence outside Aldi, 4833 Oakton St., on April 13.
Stolen booze

An employee at Jewel, 8448 Skokie Blvd., reported that a customer stole three bottles of vodka from the store on April 12 around 7 a.m. The suspect was described as a black male, 19-years-of-age, 5-foot-11, thin build and wearing a grey jacket with a hood, police said.

Two teens were charged with retail theft after they attempted to steal several pieces of children's clothing from Macy's in Old Orchard Mall on April 12.
Theft at Bloomies
Police responded to a theft at Bloomingdale's in Old Orchard Mall on April 13. According to the report, the offender stolen several pieces of clothing before leaving the store. No arrests were made.

Residential burglary
A 42" HDTV, desktop computer and Playstation were reported stolen from a home in the 4900 block of Hull on April 12.
DUI
George Salinas, 48, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on April 13. Police found Salinas passed out in his car in the 7400 block of Skokie Boulevard around 6:30 p.m., the report stated.
