Blotter: Cars Vandalized, Home Burglarized

Residential Burglary

A victim reported that an unknown person(s) entered the residence by forcing open a north- side door to the home on the 4300 block of Mulford Street, on June 7 between 3:00 and 5:45 p.m.  A MacBook computer, Nintendo PSP and $800 cash were stolen.

Criminal Damage to Property

A victim reported that a sharp object was used to scratch “H” on the driver’s side door and an “F” on the rear passenger side door on the 7500 Block of Keystone Avenue on June 7 between 4:30 a.m. and 11 a.m..

A victim reported that someone slashed the driver’s side tires on his Toyota Corolla on the 8600 Block of Karlov Avenue, between June 6 at 6:00 a.m. and June 7th at 3 p.m.

A victim reported at an unknown person(s) pried open the fuel tank door on a 2013 Volkswagen Beetle and poured an unknown liquid substance into the gas tank on the 8800 block of Lacrosse Avenue, between June 7 at 11:30 p.m. and June 8th at 10:40 a.m.

A victim reported that an unknown person(s) broke the rear passenger side window on his 2000 Nissan Altima on the 10000 block of Frontage Road, on June 8 between 3:00 p.m. and 3:50 p.m.

A victim reported that her 2006 Jeep Cherokee was scratched twice with an unknown object while parked in the parking garage on the 9700 block of Woods Drive on June 9 at 3 p.m.

An unknown person(s) used a red marker to write “vault” on the Keep Right traffic sign on the 5200 block of Old Orchard Road.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

The victim reported that an unknown person(s) removed approximately three dollars in change from his unlocked Toyota RAV 4 on Williamsburg Road between June 8 at 9 p.m. and June 9 at 9 a.m.

Theft

The victim reported that while eating at a restaurant at 4999 Old Orchard Road, on June 8 at 2:30 p.m. an unknown person(s) removed her wallet from inside her purse that was hanging on the back of her chair.  The offender(s) then used the victim’s credit cards to make various purchases in Skokie and Chicago.

Arrests

Charles Raymond Gibbons, 51, of Chicago, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of alcohol, on the 4600 block of Birchwood Ave., on June 6.

Colbert Devin Woodley, 26, of Skokie, was arrested for being a registered sexual predator on public park property on June 7.

Anthony R. Scott, , 25, of Evanston, was arrested for driving with a revoked driver’s license on the 5100 block of Dempster on June 7.

Jemar D. Harris, 28, of Evanston, was arrested for possession of cannabis 10-30 grams on the 5100 block of Dempster on June 7.

Corrine Sandoval, 18, of Chicago, was arrested for felony retail theft at 4909 Old Orchard Road on June 8.

Maria E. Roman, , 44, of Chicago, was arrested for felony retail theft at 4909 Old Orchard Road on June 8.

Miguel Trinidad, 27 , of Chicago, was arrested for retail theft at 3337 Golf Road on June 8.
