Blotter: Man Attacked on Street, Cars Damaged

The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Battery
A man reported that as he was walking to his residence on the 4000 block of Dobson Street, at 12:15 a.m. June 23, two unknown male subjects exited a silver Nissan Altima and began to attack him. The offenders then left the scene. The victim was unharmed.

Criminal Damage to Property
Someone used a landscaping brick to damage the front windshield on a vehicle, which was parked on the street on the 8200 block of Niles Center Road, between 5:50 and 7:05 p.m. on June 21. The victim believes the offenders are acquaintances. 

Someone used a sharp object to puncture and deflate the front driver's side tire on the victim's silver 2013 Chevy Cobalt rental on the 9000 block of Kenton Avenue at 11:45 p.m. June 22. The vehicle was parked on the street.

Retail Theft
Two female offenders entered the at CVS at 3434 Dempster Street at 8:10 p.m. June 23 and placed multiple items from the soap and body works aisle into a backpack They then left the store without paying for the merchandise. 

Arrests
Jordyn M. Toia, 20, of Chicago, was arrested on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle on the 3900 block of Dobson Street, Skokie, on June 22.

Alfa M. Kaba, 24, of Evanston, was arrested on charges of aggravated battery on the 9400 block of Lincolnwood Drive on June 23.
